Hello!

 

My name is Charlotte Bayliss. I am a freelance illustrator based within the UK primarily working on Editorial with a personal preference in Environmental Issues, Space and Wellness. I graduated from the University of Derby with a First in BA (Hons) Illustration.

Primarily I choose to work digitally on an iPad within the software Procreate and enjoy experimenting with traditional mediums such as gouache.

May 2021

AOI World Illustration Awards 2021 Longlist

-A collection of speculative illustrations based on articles from The Guardian and more focusing on various topics of Environmental Issues regarding the theme ‘habitat’. This project was selected by the category judging panel to be included in the longlist.

King House Gallery - Seasons Art Competition

-A single illustration that made the semi-finalist round for the Seasons Art Competition by King House Gallery and was exhibited in the "Seasons" Online Exhibition.

Cavendish Arts Society Award (3rd Year)

-Exhibited high levels of engagement and commitment to the development of personal and socially engaged practice with integration and adaptation to digital media techniques in my final projects.

BIMA Beat (3rd Year)

-A platform for digital creatives to showcase their work.

-Orangutan Palm Oil Crisis work selected based on the theme 'Reduce'.
